Chattanooga Mold Removal Co. serves Chattanooga plus East Ridge, Red Bank, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, Hixson, Ooltewah, Cleveland, Fort Oglethorpe, and Ringgold. Every one gets the same free inspection with surface temperature and dew point readings, and travel, where it applies, is its own line.

Every town we cover, and what changes there
Each of these has its own page, because the ground and the housing stock are not the same across the region. The short version:
East Ridge — Cold air runs downhill and stops here
On a clear winter night, air cools against the ridges and drains down into the low ground, where it pools and sits until the sun works on it. Read what that means for an East Ridge property.
Red Bank — The side of the house that never dries
Red Bank has real tree cover and a good deal of terrain that faces away from the afternoon sun. Read what that means for a Red Bank property.
Soddy-Daisy — The room you shut the door on
It is a sensible-sounding economy in an older, larger house: close the vents in a spare bedroom, shut the door, and stop paying to heat a room nobody uses. Read what that means for a Soddy-Daisy property.
Signal Mountain — Fog is rain that never falls
Homes up here spend a meaningful number of days each year in direct contact with cloud. Read what that means for a Signal Mountain property.
Hixson — A tight house needs to be operated
Newer construction in Hixson is meaningfully more airtight than the housing stock closer to town, and that is a genuine improvement for comfort and energy. Read what that means for a Hixson property.
Ooltewah — The room over the garage
A finished room above an unconditioned garage is one of the most reliable places to find moisture trouble in newer construction, and Ooltewah has a great many of them. Read what that means for an Ooltewah property.
Cleveland — Slab homes fail differently
Bradley County has a substantial share of slab-on-grade housing, and mold in a slab home presents in a way that surprises people who expect to look upward. Read what that means for a Cleveland property.
Fort Oglethorpe — One damp crawl, every room
A good deal of the older housing around Fort Oglethorpe runs its ductwork through the crawl space, and the return side of that system is where the trouble concentrates. Read what that means for a Fort Oglethorpe property.
Ringgold — What a patched roof leaves behind
This corridor takes serious weather, and the repair sequence after a storm is usually sound: tarp the breach, stop the water, replace the damaged roofing. Read what that means for a Ringgold property.
Four presentations of one mechanism
The valley floor — East Ridge, much of the city — gets cold-air pooling on clear winter nights, so exterior walls drop toward the dew point and wet themselves with no leak involved. The high ground — Signal Mountain — escapes that and gets something else: real time spent inside cloud, which keeps exterior surfaces wet without rainfall registering at all.
The newer subdivisions — Hixson, Ooltewah — are tight enough that moisture generated indoors has to be exhausted deliberately, and the failure points are bath fans and rooms conditioned differently from the rest of the house. The slab towns — a good deal of Cleveland — present at the bottom of the wall instead of the top, where ground moisture reaches the bottom plate and the back of the baseboard.
Three constants across all ten
The valley holds air. Cool air settles between the ridges and does not readily clear, so surfaces across the metro dry more slowly than the rainfall total suggests.
The wet season is the cold season. Roughly 54 inches annually, weighted toward the cold half of the year, which is why growth establishes when surfaces are coldest and turns up months afterward.
Hillside crawls have two climates. Cut into a slope, the uphill wall is below grade and damp while the downhill end is open and dry — and the access door is on the dry side.
What mold removal costs across the metro
We do not price by county line. Remediation runs $1,500–$6,000, crawl space work $2,500–$9,000, attic work $1,500–$5,000, and duct systems $1,000–$4,000 whether the house is in Ringgold or Soddy-Daisy. What changes is which the readings call for. The cost guide breaks every class out.

Service area questions
Is there a travel charge outside Chattanooga?
Not for any of the nine communities on this page. Hamilton, Bradley, Catoosa, and Walker counties are inside our normal radius, and that includes both Georgia towns. Past that edge, travel is its own line with its own number and you hear about it on the phone.
Does the mold problem change across the metro?
The mechanism is the same, the presentation is not. Valley-floor homes get cold-wall condensation. Mountain homes get exterior surfaces wet from cloud contact. Newer subdivisions get tight-envelope humidity. Slab towns get it at the bottom of the wall. That changes what we look at first.
Do you cover the Georgia side?
Fort Oglethorpe and Ringgold, yes, on the same terms as anywhere else. Georgia issues no mold-specific contractor license and neither does Tennessee, so crossing the state line changes the postmark on your mail and nothing about how you should vet a company.
What does the free inspection include out in the county?
The same readings plus a longer look outside: surface temperature and dew point, moisture content, crawl entry to the far wall, an attic look, and the exterior water path. Rural properties simply take more time to walk. The written scope comes back in the same format.
What it means when we say we cover a town
It means the free walkthrough happens at your address on the same terms it would in Chattanooga — the same moisture readings and photographs of what is growing, the same written scope afterwards, and travel quoted as its own line rather than buried inside the others. If a job is far enough out that travel is material, you will see that number before you agree to anything.
Damp problems get worse while they wait, so distance never becomes a reason to put a visit off.
These 9 communities are where we work regularly enough to know the ground before we arrive. That is the honest boundary: not a radius drawn on a map, but the places we have looked at enough properties to recognise what we are seeing.

Tell us what you are seeing or smelling — dark spots on a cold exterior wall, a musty smell in one room, condensation on a window frame that never dries, staining in a closet on the north side. The visit includes surface temperature readings and a trip under the house. You will hear back before the end of the next business day.
